These backdrops were made in the 2018-2019 Opera For All program (Chicago Opera Theater). Students from 10 different classrooms produced their own operas, as guided by Teaching Artists, Composers, Choreographers, and Scenic Artists. Based on each original opera plot, I designed and prepared 6x9 backdrops for each class to fill in with paint.
